Position Purpose
The Grant Coordinator is responsible for the effective
coordination, financial administration, compliance management, and reporting of
donor-funded grants and organisational projects within the Southern African
Alcohol Policy Alliance NPC (SAAPA NPC).
The role supports the organisation in ensuring that grants
are implemented in accordance with donor requirements, organisational policies,
financial controls, governance standards, and applicable regulatory
obligations. The incumbent will serve as a central coordination point between
programme teams, finance, leadership, donors, and external stakeholders to
ensure accurate grant tracking, budget oversight, compliance monitoring, and
operational accountability.
The position requires a highly organised and detail-oriented
professional with strong financial acumen, grant administration capability, and
the ability to coordinate multiple priorities across programmes and
stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
- Finance
- Accounting

Administration
- Business
Administration
- Development
Studies
- Project
Management
- or
related field.
1.2
Experience
·
Minimum 4–6 years’ relevant experience in:
o
Grant coordination
o
Financial administration
o
Donor-funded project management
o
Compliance administration
o
NGO/NPC or development sector environments.
·
Experience working with donor-funded programmes
and grant reporting requirements.
·
Experience coordinating budgets, invoices,
expense tracking, and financial reconciliations.
·
Experience supporting organisational governance
and compliance processes is advantageous.
