Project Description:

ACHIEVE is a globally funded project dedicated to achieving and sustaining HIV epidemic control among pregnant and breastfeeding women, adolescents, infants, and children. To support this goal, ACHIEVE implements approved life-saving interventions for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC). ACHIEVE is led by Pact, in partnership with Jhpiego, Palladium, No Means No Worldwide, and WI-HER. ACHIEVE also has a network of resource partners that are engaged on an as needed basis for technical support.

Position Description:

The Senior Manager, Programme Transition will provide support the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of ACHIEVE South Africa's transition strategy across five provinces and 18 priority districts. Working under the guidance of the OVC Technical Director, the incumbent will coordinate transition activities, support provincial teams and subrecipient partners, monitor implementation progress, and facilitate collaboration with government stakeholders to ensure the continuity of life-saving HIV services throughout the transition period. Guided by the approved transition workplan and implementation plans, the incumbent will ensure alignment with national priorities, donor requirements, and government-led transition processes.

The position is responsible for managing  the successful transition of ACHIEVE interventions by strengthening government ownership, institutional capacity, and health systems while ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of life-saving HIV services
