Corruption Watch (CW) is a South African civil-society organisation dedicated to combating corruption and strengthening public accountability. Through research, public engagement, strategic communications, and advocacy, it exposes corruption, assigns responsibility, and seeks institutional responses and meaningful consequences when public or entrusted power is abused.
Position overview
CW seeks to appoint a Senior Manager: Research, Programmes & Campaigns (RPC) responsible for the strategic execution of the organisation's accountability mandate through the leadership of an integrated RPC division. The role provides strategic and operational leadership of CW's RPC division, the core accountability delivery function of the organisation. The Senior Manager leads an integrated team of researchers, legal and policy specialists, and project managers to ensure that evidence generation, legal and policy analysis, campaigns, advocacy and public engagement operate as a coordinated accountability system. Applying the integrated accountability approach, the Senior Manager ensures that research informs action and that advocacy interventions are sustained, well coordinated, and aligned to organisational strategic priorities. The Senior Manager is a member of the CW management team and contributes to organisational leadership, donor engagement, and strategic planning at the highest level.
